If you weren’t allowed to eat anything for the next 7 days and only drink water, chances are you would survive! You won’t without water!

Water is the most important nutrient you can give your body to sustain itself. I recommend drinking as much as you can each day throughout the 7 day challenge!

There were significant scientific studies conducted in the late 90’s that confirmed that when our bodies are 5% dehydrated, we would lose up to 40% of our strength.

It’s life giving and it gives us strength!

So if you are a small person I recommend starting off each day with a minimum 1 litre of fresh clean water.

If you are a larger person then consume up to 2 litres on rising each morning, each day. This is the best way to start each day as it will also cleanse your body of impurities.

Continue to drink in smaller quantities throughout the day.

Enjoy the foods you have prepped from the night before and keep to your plan. Try to spread your nutrition out in as many smaller portions as you can manage throughout the day. This will keep your Insulin levels consistent and prevent the dreaded cravings from blood sugar fluctuations.

Give thanks each time you have a meal and relish the precious gift that you have. All food is energy and you need energy to perform the tasks I have outlined with this challenge. So eat heartily and let your body absorb its nutrients.

Outline your first day experience to your family and friends on social media. Talk about any great experiences or teachings you have learnt, and also indicate any problems or issues you had to over come.

Importantly: Prep all your meals for Day 2 of the challenge with a concrete plan for the day ahead. Keep in mind that unforeseen problems and issues may occur the following day where by you may have to improvise and accommodate variations of your plan. So be flexible and do what works!

Set your goals for the day ahead and commit to it. Time frame how and when you will conduct the exercise protocols throughout the day so that it fits in with your normal daily activities and again allow for unforeseen or unexpected challenges. Make it work!
